REFORMER WELL PILATES

SAN DIEGO

Your body has been

on your list long enough.

Private one-on-one reformer Pilates in San Diego, every session built entirely around what your body needs today. Not a script, not a group class, not another thing you're too busy for.

The Move

You give everyone else the best of you.

Your career gets your hours. Your family and friends get your time and energy. Your inbox gets your attention. This is for you.

Maybe you've told yourself you'll get to the back or body pain, functional movement, strength training, the thing that could actually make the back pain stop, or keep the shoulder from getting worse. To feel like yourself in your own body again. Later. When things are less busy.

Things won't ever completely calm down. And your body wants you to hear the whisper before it becomes too loud to ignore.

ONE focus

50 minutes where your body is the only thing on the agenda.

50 mins where your body is the only thing on the agenda

Reformer Well is a boutique private Pilates studio in San Diego. On a custom designed luxury Reformer. No crowd, no generic sequence ran the same way for everyone in the room. Every session is built in real time around what your body needs, using a classical Pilates foundation that can be paired with modern movements.

One day a client walked into her session with a sprained ankle (surprise). Her entire session gets built on the spot. We strengthened glutes, hamstrings, upper body, with zero pressure to feet. Adjustments are not an exception. It's my standard. We move with results and safety in mind, always designed for your body.

"My first experience with pilates was sitting in my car after a group class and crying. After just three sessions, my body already feels stronger and more aligned. She meets you where you are without judgment and helps you build from there."

- Tracey, client

IS THIS FOR YOU

Safe movement is the point, not the exception.

I don't have a single favorite "type" of client. My clients range from their 20s to their 70s, and roughly a third to half of them are Men. Each one of them are incredible for different reasons. They all show up with different goals. They're ambitious. They mark their health as important, and they're ready to put their body as a priority.

1
Climbers & Lifters cross-training for control and safe movements
2
Busy and claiming one hour that's theirs
3
Recovering mobility after injury or surgery
4
Navigating body changes with a coach who gets it
5
Training for independence and longevity

Some of the amazing transformations I have been part of

Some of the amazing transformations I have been part of

I have taught for 10+ years and 1,000s of hours. Clients ranging from complete beginners to seniors. Including those who have never touched a reformer to professional athletes looking to prevent injury and improve their range of motion.

CASE STUDIES

"At 74 years young... I used to have to wake my husband up in the middle of the night to help me to the restroom. Now after 2 months of pilates, I go on my own."

— Joy, client

"I felt muscles working that I didn't even know existed. I usually lift weights, so I wasn't sure what to expect from a men's Pilates class, but it was surprisingly challenging in the best way."

— Angel, client

"After an accident, She completely helped realign my left shoulder and arm which had been injured I couldn’t even hold a 2 lb weight, I had stopped physical therapy. She helped me get back full mobility. From my first session, I was hooked."

— Manny, client, training since a broken elbow in 2018

Case studies: Clients have stopped back spasms, stopped him pain, recovered from injuries within months. Trained safely through pregnancy and post partum and IVF. Different bodies, different stages of life, same beautiful opportunities to find good health with precision.

The investment

This is a private studio

in San Diego.

Where you choose quality and precision and longevity over least expensive. The less expensive options are group classes at other studios. You get to choose what works best for your goals.

Reformer Well is built for the person who'd rather focus proactively on precision, one-on-one attention, a classically trained coach who is dedicating time on your health goals and recovery.

THE REFORMER

A luxury reformer most studios don't have because it was built for excellence,

not mass produced.

This reformer was built by Balanced Body (a leader in the industry for decades and internationally recognized.) Designed with a wider, longer frame and additional cushioning for comfort, stability, and versatility. The expanded front and back platforms allow for a broader range of exercises, blending the precision of classical Pilates with modern movement possibilities.

Clients have called it "the Ferrari of reformers."

What does this mean for you? More support under your body, more exercise variety in every session, and equipment that meets the same standard as the coaching.

Meet Tonia

Meet Tonia

The instructor who won't let you give up in a session because your good health is important

I have spent 10 + years training bodies of every age and every starting point and I built my education the same way I build your sessions: focused and with commitment to a high standard. I’m trained in classical pilates through Balanced Body, the internationally recognized standard. I’ve trained in Reformer, mat pilates, anatomy, and functional movement.

I didn't settle for whoever was teaching nearby. I traveled to Arizona, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Santa Monica to seek out the best teachers in the industry with decades of experience including instructors who were second lineage from Joseph Pilates himself.

I'm also trained in modern modalities like Lagree. Solid Classical Pilates foundation through Balanced Body, and modern tools. Some of the exercises or options might evolve; pilates principles don't ever change. We move safely and move with results in mind.

Sessions can be built with weight training and pilates.

Science is clear that building muscle mass protects bone density, mobility, and long term strength. We can blend weights and reformer work in a single one-on-one session when your body calls for it. Sessions are designed for what your body actually needs (that day.) Sometimes our body feels like a different workout.

Every athlete who gets somewhere has a coach who pushes them past their edge. That's my focus, direct because I care deeply, precise because your body deserves it.

Two ways to start

Pick the option that fits best

I understand saying yes to a private coach and maybe yes to a new modality deserves a moment of trust first. So there are two options for you.

This is a private studio with one coach. Every client I work with is a mutual decision that we both think it can be a good fit for their goals. Every session is one-on-one and time is blocked for you.

FAQs

What actually happens after I request the $99 session?

Your request doesn't auto-book a slot. Tonia personally reaches out to confirm the appointment and make sure the timing and details work for both of you, this is a private studio, not a drop-in gym.

Is this studio only for women?

No. Clients range from their 20s to their 70s, and roughly a third to half are men — training for strength, recovery, injury rehab, and cross-training right alongside everyone else.

I've never done reformer Pilates. Is that a problem?

No, most clients haven't. Every session is built around your actual body and experience level, not a standard sequence. First-timers are common, not the exception.

I already do group Pilates classes. Why would I need private sessions?

Group classes run the same cues for everyone in the room. Private sessions are built entirely around your body, old injuries, current pain, the specific way your body responds to a cue. Most clients say they've never heard Pilates explained the way it's taught here.

What if I'm dealing with an injury or a health condition?

That's often exactly why clients start. Sessions have been built around car accident recovery, shoulder injuries, IVF, perimenopause, sprained ankles the same day, and more — every session adapts to what your body can do right now. Many clients come specifically for Pilates for back pain, posture, or healthy aging.

What should I wear?

Comfortable, fitted activewear you can move in, leggings or athletic shorts and a shirt that won't fall over your head when you're inverted. Grip socks are recommended; barefoot works too.

How often should I come, and when will I feel a difference?

I have clients that see me once a week and some that see me 3 times a week. It depends on your health goals, budget and time. Most clients train once, or twice a week. Many feel a difference in how they move within the first few sessions and the bigger shifts (pain reduction, visible strength, posture changes) have shown up within the first two months of private sessions.

Move with results. Move with Precision.

Your body is ready for you to invest in your good health.
